Eeeekkkyyy, this is for you! I really hope you like it... I really hope I got his markings right.
This silly pic took a while. Idunno how long, but I sketched it, scanned the sketch, inked it, scanned it, erased all the pencil, scanned THAT, and then decided to just do all the colouring with the naked inks in photoshop. The spots dulled my brain. So many...
And I'm really sorry about the wonkiness of those neckstripes. They're harder than they look.
As well as the general weirdness of the pose... The forepaws annoy me. BUT WHATEVER. For you because you're so awesome and you draw me a lot of things and I owed you something.
and you did right!! I commented on SA already but I can't avoid saying things here too
the neck stripes look great! I know his markings aren't the easiest... it took a while for me too to work them out (and I keep on tweaking them). the spots ARE a pain to do, I constantly try new ways to make them how they should be
no matter what you say, I like the front paws
can I see the sketch and inked sketch pleeease? X3 I love sketches! sometimes I do such things too (mostly because I like my sketches more than my inkworks and I want to have them after erasing)
thankyou again!!!!
Oh, sure, I'll upload the ink and sketch as well... Not at the moment though, because I have to go see my psychiatrist [not therapist, though!]. I'm so so glad you like it! I'll have to check SA when I come home.
I know, psychiatrist, the one you pay for telling you you avoid unpleasant situations (or something like that), which you know already. you see, I read short posts XP
I came back here to reply to the paw subject but it's the wrong comment >.> (multiple comment-conversations!) by doodling that for you I found out drawing bear paws is fun! they're large and fluffy! (and have claws showing)
X3 plus I always liked bears alot (polar bears especially. but grizzly too) and often try to work on learning to draw them. a thing that came to my mind some time ago about polar bears is that I've had a sort of polar bear fursona for a time! in fact if you see my 5 years old email address it says 'ekyorsopolare' which means eky polar bear (orso=bear) >3
Omg, draw that fursona again! :< It would be awesome! If you can make some kind of reference picture, I'll draw us together rolling around and being silly.
she was just a generic polar bear, I used to draw her in a chibi-ish style mostly. it wasn't a real fursona, there was a period when a friend and I gave nicknames to everything and everyone and for a reason that is too hard (weird) to explain we were bears (I was the polar bear, she was the brown bear) so I was a bear only in that context
I'll upload some pictures somewhere later this evening
When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
A Special Collection of photographs i found this month that still haunts my mind. Show them some love There are always some i can`t include due to space, i try to make the features under 50 deviations to give them better exposure
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
